We are working with a global leader in the Defence industry on a number of roles within their HR team. There are three vacancies for experienced HR Business Partners to join the teams based in Mulwala and Benalla on a 12-month contract, with the view to becoming permanent roles.
Your new role
As an HR Business Partner, you will report to the HR Director and be responsible for a range of both strategic and operational initiatives within the organisation.Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with key stakeholders to deliver outcomes in line with HR objectives
- Coach and advise the leadership team on all people-related matters, and identify and build management capabilities
- Drive and influence leaders, managers, and employees to embrace organisational change, and a culture of a high performing workforce through your understanding and application of employee engagement principles and the connection between high engagement high-performance
- Take the lead on a range of complex employee and industrial relations matters
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working at a strategic level within an HR function
- Experience managing ER/IR within a blue-collar industry
- Experience with the negotiation, interpretation and application of EBAs within a blue-collar industry
- Sound knowledge of employment law and legislation
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
