Reporting to the Head of Human Resources this position plays a critical role in establishing and building relationships across the organisation to enable the provision of high-quality HR/IR and ER services to build capacity and challenge thinking, while keeping a strong people focus. The role will support and coach leaders on performance management, disciplinary issues and investigations. You will provide organisation-focused, compliant and practical interpretation of employment legislation, participate in EBA negotiations and provide tailored advice.

- Demonstrated experience of employee relations and change management to support and coach managers through performance management and investigations
- Practical working knowledge of employment legislation, Award and Agreement interpretation
- Experience supporting enterprise agreement negotiations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide data and strategic insights
- Ability to grow management capability and confidence to enable effective people management

Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in a HR or a related discipline and/or relevant professional experience in an equivalent role.
- Substantial employee relations experience including case management, investigations, EBA negotiations and representing employers at commissions for industrial relations matters.
- Substantial generalist HR knowledge and experience in providing advisory services.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret enterprise agreements, awards and employment legislation as it interacts with workforce management and employee relations.
- Change management and project management capability as it relates to leading and influencing the people impacts of change.
- The ability to translate and implement organisational strategies and initiatives across businesses.
- National Police check
- Working with Children check (optional)
- Valid Victorian Drivers license
- Right to Work in Australia
