We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Officer/Advisor to join our team at Costa Emerald.
This is a newly created role which is intended to support the current HR Manager in partnering with our site operations team within our Queensland Citrus and Grape sites. Our team is growing and we have a big HR agenda on the cards in 2024.
The successful candidate is someone who has plenty energy, ambition and drive, who is motivated by a desire to help others and foster a positive, supportive work environment. There will be support from the business to mentor, coach and develop the right candidate along a path to become a fully fledged HR generalist.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Partner with Front Line Leaders to support them in the management of their teams
- Help us recruit and onboard top talent
- Drive learning and development pathways for our site
- HR administration, including contracts, training and compliance administration, annual performance cycle
- Driving systems related to performance, reward and recognition of our seasonal workforce
- Deliver Site and Group HR projects, as supported by the HR Manager
- Deliver the site HR Strategy, as supported by the HR Manager and Divisional Team
- Provide interpretation of relevant industrial instruments, as supported by the HR Manager
- Support our staff and community engagement initiatives
- Support the site on Modern Slavery audit and compliance
- Tertiary qualifications, or willingness to pursue tertiary qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in the support function of a medium-large organisation
- A high level of administrative competency and computer literacy
- A good attention to detail
- A familiarity with standard HR practices, employment law and related legislation would be advantageous
- A strong customer service ethos
- A growth mindset and a positive attitude toward challenges
- Above all, someone who enjoys spending time with people and working with others to find the right outcome
