Are you personable, professional and experienced in Human Resourcing Management? We are on the lookout for a H.R superstar on behalf of our client, a boutique architecture firm within Melbourne’s inner north.
To be successful in this role, you will be knowledgeable in employment laws and policies and have proven experience within a similar role. You will be an excellent communicator with team organisation and management abilities, able to ensure that all duties are dealt with positively, on time and to a high standard. You ideally will also have strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills, able to coach and advise on conflict resolution.
Your day to day will include:
- Development, delivery and maintenance of HR initiatives
- Management of administrative and organisational systems
- Ensuring adherence and knowledge of company policies and processes
- Ensuring compliance with up to date H.R and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
- Manage all compliance related materials and advise on employee relations issues
- Conducting performance reviews and implementing performance improvement plans where necessary
- Supporting managers and director in the planning and implementation of policies, procedures and standards
- Recruitment and staff selection duties including conducting interviews, ensuring staff retention, running training and introductory sessions and management of employee relations
- Liaising with H.R consultant on complex issues
- Organisation of visas, residency requirements and documentation and assist with relocation requirements
- Management and updating of job descriptions and key performance indicators
- Experience within HR General positions, ideally within the property industry!
- Knowledge laws, regulations and PRM best practices
- Experience working in a role with a learning and coaching focus
- Excellent communication skills, ability to negotiate or resolve workplace issues or concerns as they arise
- Ongoing exposure to new areas of the business and growth opportunities within your role
- While full-time engagement is preferred, they are open to part-time arrangements for those who have strong alignment with the role
