The Role
Human Resources Co-ordinator
We are looking for an energetic individual who is enthusiastic about culture and the recruitment and development of our talented team.
This key role will involve the autonomous delivery of operational support to leaders across the business in relation to Human Resource activities and creating and nurturing strong relationships throughout all areas of the business. Well-founded knowledge of HR practices with a collaborative approach will be required.
You will be instrumental in ensuring Dicky Bill Australia attracts, hires, develops and retains top talent, as we strive to become an employer of choice. We are looking for an individual who is creative and enthusiastic, and dedicated to providing the best possible experience for the business, the team and for prospective employees.
This is a hands-on role, responsible for the end-to-end, advertisement, recruitment and on-boarding needs for the business, using Elmo as our HRIS platform. You will be required to also assist with our Qld site recruitment needs, as well as play an integral part in managing our Seasonal Workforce with our approved providers.
With the support of management and our external HR consultants, you will assist in the management and development of our team, as well as provide a point of contact to all staff for any workplace issues and promote a strong and inspiring work culture.
Ideally, you will also have relevant training and/or experience to act as the company’s Return to Work Coordinator.
This role will be based in Maffra Victoria, and reports to the director. Job share considered for the right candidates.
Qualifications, Competencies & Experience
- Demonstrated success in a similar HR role; underpinned by strong and relevant technical knowledge.
- Ability to interpret relevant Modern Awards with an understanding of the National Employment Standards and the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cwth).
- Understanding and application of current human resource and people management strategies.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, Office 365, HRIS (preferably ELMO), data entry and the internet with demonstrated capacity to record and manage data electronically.
- Proficient in the drafting and production of documents to a required professional standard and high attention to detail.
- Proven planning and organisational skills incorporating the ability to problem solve, manage competing priorities, undertake research and work autonomously with limited supervision.
