Our client is a leading and growing Property powerhouse with a diverse business portfolio. Due to an up and coming maternity leave they are seeking to appoint an experienced Human Resources Manager to join the team on a contract basis with view to extend or permanency.
The position:
The Human Resources Manager will work closely with all Stakeholder to lead the development of organisational capability and culture and ensuring alignment to the organisations vision, values and long-term strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide Award, Enterprise Agreement, Industrial Instrument(s) and Policy interpretation
- Design, train and oversee the Company Performance Management system
- Research, establish and maintain Remuneration Guidelines and Salary Reference Tools that will ensure the Company remains competitive
- Drive negotiations of Enterprise Agreements and Common Law contracts for the Company
- Liaise with relevant employer association(s) and legal professionals; represent the Company interests in industrial matters
- Provide high level advice and support to the Director and leadership team in relation to strategic human resource and organisational development matters
- Determine and lead recruiting processes for the organisation
- Manage all facets of employee relations, including management of grievances and other disputes.
- Investigate human resource related matters raised by management, staff and relevant third parties to provide an effective case-management service for the Company
Key skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications plus substantial Human Resources experience in a broad range of strategic human resource management, including employee relations and organisational development
- Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills at all levels
- Proven knowledge of relevant legislation, principles and practices associated with Human Resources management.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to management decisions, organisational development and change strategies that achieve organisational goals
- High level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to recommend appropriate courses of action using procedures, practices, guidelines and the application of professional knowledge.
- Ability to make recommendations based on and consistent with relevant legislation, internal policies and principles
- Construction industry experience an advantage but not essential
