SalaryAustralian Passive Fire are industry leaders in passive fire protection, providing services across the Greater Sydney and wider NSW. We are a leading provider of passive fire protection services, specialising in consultation, testing, and certification for new and existing buildings. We are looking for an ICT Business Analyst, the role will revolve around leveraging information and communication technology to enhance business processes, systems, and operations.
Location: Emu Plains, NSW 2750
Salary range: $100,000- $120,000 per annum
Role: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements in consultation with various stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
- Analyse existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Translate business requirements into system and software specifications.
- Develop business cases and proposals for ICT initiatives, including new system implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
- Document functional and technical specifications, user stories and other relevant artifacts.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of systems and make recommendations.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and stakeholders.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and coordinate user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new ICT systems and processes.
- Act as an intermediary between different personalities like developers, users, management, and colleagues.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the field.
Qualifications, Work experience and Skills:
- Master's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
- Proficiency in working with Business Development Tools and CMS platforms is required.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards related to fire safety and IT.
- Excellent technical, problem-solving and communication skills.
