About you
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in using Solidworks, Keyshot and Adobe software. You will also be confident working within manufacturing processes such as fabrication, extrusion design and injection moulding. We are looking for a talented designer with high attention to detail who can work to tight timelines.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop products in line with the product design brief.
- Undertake design request for change, updating drawings and managing the change process.
- Prototype testing and user engagement.
- Provide professional and customer focussed service to your colleagues by creating accurate and realistic drawings, renders and animations.
- Requires experience in Solidworks. Renders and animations require experience in Keyshot
- Requires appreciation of the need for accuracy, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working to tight timelines.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Hidrive product range, its capabilities and constraints.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and the technicalities of new vehicle model releases in order to produce accurate presentations.
- Maintenance and improvement of system processes.
- Full fill the mission of the Product & Innovation Department: ‘Innovation, specification and presentation of products that meet customer needs and consistently add value’.
