As our Renewable Energy Development Intern, you will support the ENGIE North America's Renewables in the development of large scale Renewable Energy projects in the US. ENGIE's North America's Renewables group is responsible for identifying, screening, developing and evaluating business development projects in order to implement ENGIE's growth strategy. This may include Greenfield and project development, and asset/project acquisitions and/or divestitures. This opportunity will assist in further developing professional skills, specifically, in the field of Renewable Energy. It will provide the successful candidate with exposure to the electricity industry and experience with technical and commercial aspects of Renewable Energy project development.
What you'll do:
- Learn to perform research and industry analysis
- Assist the project team with project development activities for Renewable Energy projects
- Learn to review Request for Proposal (“RFP”) documents for Renewable Energy projects
- Assist in the preparation of bid packages in response to RFPs
A junior or senior enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in engineering, environment science or related field * Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
- You communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- You enjoy handling multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
- Confident in utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Eligible for a hybrid schedule consisting of in-office and work-from-home opportunities
Salary Range: $21.00-$34.00 USD, hourly
