This exciting newly created opportunity will see you be responsible for effectively triaging 'red flag' and/or 'high-risk' claims referred by claims staff or identified by the fraud detection system(s), and case manage all activities associated with the Investigation of a claim, including all Member interactions. In addition, you will:
Safeguard the integrity of the Insurance Claims operations by detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities.
Case manage all activities associated with the Investigation of a claim, including all Member interactions and acting as the conduit between the Member and Investigator.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including claims, underwriting, legal, external investigators, and law enforcement agencies to share information, coordinate efforts, and strengthen fraud prevention measures.
Balance fraud prevention and investigations with positive member relationships, and in line with RAA Brand, by handling investigations discreetly and professionally.
Participate in the development of Fraud strategies to detect and prevent fraudulent behaviour, including the establishment and implementation of policies, procedures, and fraud detection systems.

For this role, we're also looking for:
Knowledge of General Insurance Code of Practice, Privacy Principles, AFCA Dispute resolution process and relevant legislative requirements i.e. APRA, ASIC
Knowledge of contemporary fraud and investigations processes and practices
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within General Insurance industry
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders
Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be a critical thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
