We are currently seeking experienced Community Services investigators to join our team.
The RoleThe role of Investigator undertakes consultancy services within the Community Services sector. This role provides strategic support to agencies that is evidence based and provides value for money to the organisations that we serve.
The role is a casual position that is engaged on a project basis (negotiable). This role has the flexibility of working from home or from our office in the South Eastern Suburbs.
Key responsibilities include:
- To undertake investigations in line with agency requirements. These may include Authorised Investigations, CIMS, Reportable Conduct, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, workplace misconduct and Department of Education and Training requirements.
- To undertake critical incident reviews as required.
- To undertake organisational reviews as required.
- Significant experience in investigations.
- Significant experience in the Community Services sector with experience in the Child Protection and Out of Home Care sector strongly desirable.
- Bachelor degree in an appropriate discipline.
- Certification in Investigations (Cert IV Government Investigations or equivalent) – Mandatory.
- Private Security License (Investigator) – Mandatory for Authorised Investigations
- Strong interpersonal engagement skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to analyse and assess information.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders in a positive and supportive manner.
- Must have a valid:
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Victorian Drivers License
