The Role:
We have a unique opening for an established Applications Support Specialist to be based at our Head Office in Acacia Ridge and reporting to the IT Applications Manager.
This role is a combination of end user software application support, platform administration and innovation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Helping end users by troubleshooting and fixing software application support requests.
- Configuration and maintenance of enterprise applications in line with approved processes
- Work closely and collaboratively with other members of the application support team to provide a quality service to the end users.
- Identify and help implement improved and innovative ways to the applications used with the enterprise.
About you:
To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
- Established experience in supporting enterprise software applications as part of a cohesive team.
- ITIL, or relevant application-specific accreditation, will be looked at favourably.
- The ability to monitor, maintain, support, and enhance a complex enterprise application portfolio.
- Recently worked with business stakeholders to deliver application improvements that resulted in business efficiency improvements.
- Excellent skills and experience when communicating when providing application support.
- Relationship building and performance management of vendors and service providers.
- Critical thinking and the ability to find solutions to complex problems.
- A collaborative approach to delivering complex software projects that involve the whole IT team and business subject matter experts.
- A good understanding of IT security and the application data security
- Excellent interpersonal skills
IT Tertiary qualifications, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Trimble TruckMate or other IT-related qualifications to support your application will increase your chances of securing this role.
