As part of TCorp’s IT Division, the Investments Business Solutions Manager will partner with the Investments Division fostering a trusted advisor relationship with the Investment Operations and Data and Analytics teams. The Investments Business Solutions Manager will help set the technology strategic definition, architecture, and management of a portfolio of IT assets which support the Investments Division. The role will provide technical expertise and advice while representing IT in project and BAU activities and work with external stakeholders including NSW Treasury, government agencies, custodians, and consultants.
Key areas of accountability will be measured by outcomes achieved in:
- Leadership – lead across the IT, Investment Operations and Investment Leadership teams while also leading a team of analysts.
- Partnership – foster trusted advisor relationships.
- Management – manage risks across the portfolio of solutions, workflow, and conflicting tasks.
- Portfolio management – advise on appropriate processes and approaches for designing, architecting, implementing, and managing the IT solutions.
- Vendor relationships – continually work to build, value based, strategic relationships with vendors to ensure maximum leverage for TCorp.
TCorp would like to hear from subject matter experts in investment management systems, processes and workflows with experience working within an Agile working environment and related technologies e.g. Jira and Confluence who have managed vendor relationships with large software providers e.g. Blackrock Aladdin, Refinitiv, Rimes. To be considered candidates will need tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, a minimum of seven years Asset Management technology related roles experience and a minimum of five years’ experience supporting Investment related systems such as Blackrock Aladdin, Matrix IDM (or equivalent).
