The Company
This successful organisation has seen significant growth this year and things are not slowing down soon.  Moving to a new site in the near future, as specialists in their sector, they are implementing new systems in an effort to bring together aspects of a multi-faceted, somewhat complex ERP.  A dynamic time to join a sizeable private company in Adelaide, and work with successful and highly regarded leadership is on offer.

Your Role
You will be part of a committed and resilient ICT team based in Adelaide and interstate.  You will provide strategic, operational and hands on support across to the ICT activities of the group and in conjunction with existing policies and procedures developed and maintained by the ICT team, this role will support continuous development of internal processes, improve security protocols, educate the people and provide industry leading information and resources to external clients.  Daily tasks may look like this;

  • Managing and maintaining IT software including software updates, O365 Administration and other line of business application support
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Setting up and maintaining SharePoint including development of workflows and automation
  • Consulting with external IT service provider to ensure IT systems across the organisation operate effectively and are maintained to a high standard
  • Maintaining backup hardware for 4G devices, routers, WAP’s and wi-fi extenders
  • Maintaining asset register and review regularly, making recommendations for improvement
  • Maintaining physical IT hardware integrity including cabinetry naming and labelling conventions
  • Setting up and installing new IT hardware, including digital and IP telephones
  • Supporting the development and implementation of a change management and risk management process to ensure the smooth implementation of system enhancements, upgrades or replacements
  • Procuring various equipment including PCs, printers, MFD’s, coordinating installation, upgrade, relocations and replacements
  • User on-boarding and off-boarding including access policies, security groups and other tools
  • Undertaking periodic health checks to monitor for, fix or report issues
  • Being the first point of contact for trouble shooting and resolution of all software, hardware or network related issues onsite and or remotely
  • Providing high levels of service to end users of information management systems, ensuring timely, accurate and proactive resolution to system issues and various customer level requests, escalating as necessary
  • Developing communication procedures and documentation on information technology for staff awareness, knowledge and learning activities.
  • Working in, and learning, diverse facets of the organisation to understand the business, the business needs, gather requirements and develop solutions
  • Supporting network drive clean up and restructure initiatives
  • Undertaking additional training in in-house software including report writing, API / EDI development, and other items as required
Other Details
The position is a Level 1 support role, full-time permanent, and hours are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday, with occasional after hours calls to attend to.  The remuneration range is $65 – 72K + Super with excellent career growth options.  The current location of the position is in the North West of Adelaide, with some local travel between sites if required during relocations.

About You

  • You have a relevant Australian Tertiary IT qualification and at least 2 years' of experience in a similar role
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interpret and explain complex concepts clearly and simply
  • Extensive experience in MS Windows OS and Office 365 applications including advanced Excel
  • Power BI experience highly regarded
  • Well-developed troubleshooting, researching and problem-solving skills with ability to implement and manage change in a clear calm and logical manner
  • Experience with IT hardware and network diagnosis, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs including notebooks, desktops and printers
  • Driven by a genuine customer and end-user service ethos and able to inspire the same in others
  • Proven ability to develop positive relationships with end users, customers, clients, and vendors
  • Current drivers’ license and flexibility to work across various local sites as required
