About the Role:
- 5 days onsite, based in Hawthorn East
- Level 1 or level 2 support (Ideal for someone with 1-3 years experience in the industry)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Someone, who can fit into a construction industry environment would be ideal.
What you will be doing:
- Act as a primary point of contact between end-users and our Managed Service Provider (MSP) for all technology-related issues, including but not limited to:
- Monitoring service requests.
- Conducting regular audits.
- Managing computer updates; and
- Addressing network outages.
- Monitor and manage incoming support requests on our MSP's platform, ensuring compliance with established processes and appropriate ticket prioritisation.
- Ensure prompt resolution of technical support issues in accordance with the MSP's Service Level Agreement.
- Receive urgent helpdesk inquiries and provide timely resolution via telephone, remote support, email, or in-person interactions.
- Track and manage license counts, usage, assignment of licenses, and license renewals for all IT applications.
- Oversee the completion of all IT onboarding and offboarding tasks to maintain high levels of user satisfaction, compliance, and company IP security.
- Manage Windows desktops, server applications, cloud-based services, printers, desk phones, smartphones, and portable devices both in-person and remotely, coordinating with our MSP as necessary.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of installed software, hardware, and software licensing, ensuring adherence to proper procedures for electronic asset disposal.
- Manage an active inventory of all company-owned or operated IT assets.
- Develop and implement plans for the repair, replacement, or upgrade of computers and other technological equipment; and
- Perform any other duties assigned within the scope of the position.

- Analytical Aptitude: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, essential for identifying and addressing complex IT issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Project Management: Proven ability to lead projects from inception to completion, demonstrating effective time management, organizational skills, and the capability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to align IT initiatives with organizational goals, drive innovation, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
