Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support relevant infrastructure, IT systems and applications so that staff and members have seamless access to productive and reliable systems and receive technical assistance when needed.
- Undertake special IT projects from time to time to enable ASFA to meet its objectives.
- Manage external IT provider contracts and relationships to ensure they deliver on agreed service levels and have competitive commercial arrangements with ASFA. Perform due diligence and source alternative providers when contracts are up for renewal.
- Manage technology licenses and subscriptions, including periodic renewals
- Collaborating with our internal staff to analyse business requirements, provide functional and business analysis including process mapping, requirements gathering, scoping and estimation.
- Setting performance goals for team members and evaluating their progress.
- Ensuring that the teams work is aligned with the organisational goals and objectives.
- Evaluate, and implement where agreed, new systems and technology to meet ASFA’s changing business requirements. Periodically conduct reviews of current IT systems and applications to determine any shortfalls, and report on recommendations to optimise system performance and security.
- Develop and maintain ASFA’s Business Continuity Plan to ensure timely recovery and set out the roles and responsibilities of the staff involved.
- Manage ASFA’s cyber security program.
- Ensuring that all new services added to ASFA meet a minimum set of security requirements,
- managing remediation works to improve cyber security posture,
- lead the response to any cyber security incidents and ensure incident reporting is completed.
