This is an exciting opportunity for a person studying Information Technology that would like to gain real world workplace experience while continuing their studies and applying their experience with client Data Base management for a team of Real Estate Sales Representatives.
Professionally presented & an excellent communicator, you will be assisting our IT Co-Ordinator to resolve & trouble shoot IT issues (in the Microsoft environment) on our Assets as they arise. The role does not involve network management or infrastructure work – this is outsourced. You will also be our Go-To person on our client Data Base – covering entry of new clients, updating details, removing old ones & providing specific, lead generating reports for the team.
Your key duties will include (but are not limited to):
IT Co-Ordinator Support
- New Asset set up.
- New User & Exiting User profile management.
- Trouble shooting PC performance & user issues.
- Assisting our IT Support company with access as needed to PC’s.
- Maintaining asset security & ensure updates are happening.
- Maintaining Asset register.
- Liaising with outsourced IT Support & Group manager of our Microsoft products.
- Provide guidance on using 365 to the team (we are new to it)
Data Base Management
- All facets of contact management in our Vault Data Base.
- Updating tasks and notes, generating reports as required.
- Provide feedback & identify & report issues as they arise.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experienced in an office IT environment.
- Have a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (incl 365).
- Experience with managing a Data Base like Vault or a similar CRM.
- Quick & accurate typing speed – min 40wpm.
- A willing & friendly attitude is a must.
- Have solid employment references we can contact post interview.
- Strong and professional communication skills - both written and verbal.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- That you can work collaboratively and be self-motivated & focused on completing tasks.
- A Corporate level of professional presentation.
- A high level of initiative, organisation, integrity and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a positive friendly attitude to all.
