Key Responsibilities
* Accurately log all incidents or requests received via phone, email etc.
* Travel to different stations and gather detailed information relating to the incident or request, including all relevant troubleshooting information
* Escalate incidents and service requests to internal resolver groups or partners as required
* Create and update knowledge documentation as required
* Participate in various aspects of our incident, problem and change management processes
* Focus on continuous improvement and opportunities to automate recurring tickets, where feasible
* Perform routine hygiene checks on station infrastructure
* Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
* Troubleshoot issues and outages as escalated from outsourced providers
* Ensure security through access controls, roles and permissions, as well as patching
* Work collaboratively with the remainder of the IT team (Brisbane based) to resolve issues
Required Experience & Competencies
* Worked in a business IT environment with remote/regional end users
* Utilise knowledge base and experience to provide effective troubleshooting
* Network and router principles, including troubleshooting approaches
* Experience with user account management systems
* Good Knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems and Applications (Windows, Office)
* Good Knowledge of Apple and Android mobile devices
* Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
* Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
* Excellent communication skills
Commercial Skills and Formal Qualifications
* AACo operates a predominantly Microsoft platform.
* The position is a "hands-on" technical role therefore it requires a high level of competency in the following technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory/Azure Active Directory and Office365
* Experience with appropriate backup, security, and network management technologies is also essential.
* Willingness to progress formal qualifications to supplement on the job training and other self-paced learning
* Ability to travel as required
