About this role:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to work with us as IT Support Officer.
In this fast-paced role you will be reporting directly to the IT Manager and will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff via Phone, Remote Support Tools and Onsite as required. Let your eye for detail and creativity shine as you independently work on issues, identify recurring problems and propose or implement solutions.
The position would be a good fit for someone with at least 1 - 2 years of help desk or similar experience, and looking to grow further in a challenging role.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and management of systems and devices ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction at all times
- Complete proactive maintenance tasks on systems and devices
- Use initiative to anticipate potential issues, make suggestions and share ideas
- Ensure systems are operating at optimum level with minimal or no downtime
- Providing general support for Microsoft Office 365
- Assist the IT Manager as required
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will require a Diploma, Degree or industry recognized ICT certification relevant to the duties of the position.
Your Skills & Experience:
Your Experience must include -
- Proven experience in a Level 1 and 2 customer focused technical support role
- Demonstrated experience supporting a broad range of Windows and Mac technologies
- Familiarity with service desk environments where and resolving issues in a timely manner is important
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- You have in-depth knowledge of computer and networking systems, software applications.
- With a strong experience in IT support, you have the motivation to grow in the business.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- You have an eye for detail and the ability to understand and translate complex issues into simple problems for resolutions.
Work Hours:
The position will be full time Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be available for the right applicant.
