What’s happening?We have an excellent opportunity for two experienced and motivated IT professionals with great communication skills to join our awesome IT Support Team.
The permanent role is based initially in our Ipswich office or, in the longer term, our Taringa office in Brisbane if preferred, and will require travel to client sites from time to time.
What would you be doing?
- Working collaboratively as part of the IT Team.
- Complete project work under the guidance of higher-level engineers
- Allocate tasks and guide more junior participants in project work
- Create and complete job tickets within a reasonable time-frame, recording work with appropriate accuracy and details
- Work autonomously and identify when tickets need to be escalated to a senior technician
- Working with our clients directly as a part of our support team, and helping meet their technology needs
- Produce and maintain client documentation
- Manage overall capacity utilization of Server/hardware environment ensuring it is optimized to meet business requirements.
Other favourable qualifications and experience:
- Experience working with Microsoft Cloud technologies – M365, Azure AD, Intune / Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams Online
- Microsoft Certifications in Azure/M365 and other technologies
- Relevant university IT degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Infrastructure (Virtualisation, Servers and Storage Systems
- Active Directory, Group Policy

The ideal person for this role will have diverse experience with at least 2 years in an IT support role or systems administration.
