We have a great new opportunity for a highly service oriented IT Technician or Level 1 Field/Help Desk looking to make a real difference.

The Position is working for a small but highly successful IT Company on the Gold Coast.

The position will be suitable for an IT with a natural interest and ability with IT and tech-related products and a proven ability and passion to learn, grow, and contribute to the company's success.

This is a multi-faceted position which includes the following:

Responsibilities, Full Time.

  1. Action escalations from the help desk team & assist the Senior Team
  2. Provide Networking & IT System Support to clients.
  3. Create & maintain client documentation to a high standard.

Technical Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Level 1 or above
  • Critical service ticket response and remediation
  • Intermediate Server and Network administration
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues for a diverse client base.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Microsoft Defender/Intune Administration
  • Using PowerShell to solve problems and automate repetitive tasks
  • Scoping, deploying, and managing cloud computing and virtual infrastructure
  • Networking experience, including managing routers, DNS, DHCP and WiFi
  • Advanced printer deployment & troubleshooting

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Ability to articulate yourself well to clients & Team members
  • Confident in own abilities, but willing to engage with team members to collectively solve problems
  • Able to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback
  • Genuine passion for technology and learning
  • Self-motivated, Punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Presentable and personable
  • Full-time – Monday to Friday. With some after-hours work
  • Must have a vehicle and full driver’s license. (Mandatory)
