We have an exciting, entry-level position for someone with strong technical capabilities in Graphic Development and IT. The person to fill this position needs to work well within a team environment and be ready to begin an exciting career with a progressive, privately-owned family business.
Bonlec offers a wide variety of roles and opportunities, and this role is for a full-time Junior BEMS (Building & Energy Management Systems) Graphics/IT Support Technician. The aim of this position is to help all of our branches in providing exceptional quality Graphics Projects, Building Services Integration, value-added Analytics and uniformity to our clients. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
As our Junior BEMS Graphics/IT Support Technician you will be responsible for:
- Collating the images required for a project using Bonlec standards and bespoke site/project specific requirements.
- Manipulating graphics images for equipment and floorplans to suit the project
- Delivering front-end graphics for/with the Engineering Team and Project Managers
- Assisting with project & service IT support, to guide our clients and staff
- Assist with project estimating (BEMS, HVAC, Lighting, Fire) and markups of drawings
- Assist with the development of new processes, templates and documentation
- Remote graphics and IT technical support as required
- Some BEMS software/hardware programming, including training on these systems
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A genuine passion for Graphics, IT and a want to produce exceptional client outcomes
- A demonstrated understating of some (not all) of the following graphics software:
- Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop
- AutoCAD
- Bluebeam Revue
- Visio
- A suitable IT qualification from TAFE (or similar), or the ability to demonstrate an understanding of IT processes
- Excellent communications skills, as you will deal with internal staff and external clients when required
- Speed, accuracy and good eye for detail
- To be able to work well independently and as part of a team
- A desire to learn and grow within the role
This is a full-time, junior position within a well-established (40 years) growing, privately-owned business where you will be valued and provided with opportunities to progress. Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4:30pm, working from our Head Office at 283 Ingham Rd, Townsville QLD 4814.
