We are looking for a Legal Assistant who can provide assistance to our busy Family Law team, based in our Lilydale office.
As a full time Junior Legal Assistant at Johnstone and Reimer Lawyers, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Carry out a variety of administrative tasks including sending letters and emails and making telephone calls;
- Collate and prepare briefs, court documents, etc;
- Collate digital documents;
- Scheduling and diary management;
- Catalogue and sort confidential documents;
- Drafting letters and basic correspondence.
Experience in Family Law is not essential but experience in law, justice or administration would be looked upon favourably.
Key attributes required are high attention to detail, a good phone manner, and excellent interpersonal skills. Above all we are looking for someone with a "can do" attitude who is willing to roll up their sleeves to make this role their own.
