Kitchen Manager

Belles Hot Chicken is the gold standard in Nashville-style fried chicken, sandwiches, sides, cold beer and warm vibes. We've been perfecting our craft for 10-years and are on the hunt for a full-time Kitchen Manager for our flagship Circular Quay restaurant!

Circular Quay is our flagship CBD restaurant with full table service, a licensed bar and some of the best food in the CBD - plus a view over the harbour bridge! We're open every day from 11.30am until 9.30pm and serve upwards of 250 guests every day - all with the same care as if they were our only guest!

 In this leadership role you’ll be: 

• Leading the team during our busiest services - making sure that all parts of the kitchen team are firing and delivering on our exacting standards
• Preparing and maintaining the quality of our signature fried chicken, sandwiches and sides within out timeframe and quality standards
• Maintaining all kitchen operating checklists and systems so service is super smooth, flawless and a hell of a lot of fun!
• Managing kitchen rostering and team availability in conjunction with the General Manager
• Training and onboarding new kitchen starters to Belles standards
• Managing stock ordering, rotation and stocktakes
• Train and coach kitchen team members to our processes and standards, and maintain a high-energy, hard-working and enjoyable team culture
• The GM's right-hand for all things kitchen - working as a tight and supportive team together
• With the GM, proactively managing the rostering & shift availabilities 
• Maintaining a clean and well-presented kitchen and equipment, compliant with food safety standards 
• Contributing to a positive workplace culture and getting on board with the Belles Hot Chicken Philosophy!

You've worked your way up in a busy kitchen and are experienced in fast-paced kitchens, and be a true leader by example. You know what it takes to motivate and lead your team from the front line, mentoring and growing awesome people around you. 

You have strong experience in leading a kitchen team and have an interest in numbers and meeting targets while delivering awesome food prepared by happy, engaged people!
