Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Lead, Learning Programs to join on a full-time ongoing basis.
The role is responsible for:
• Enhancing the development of DCP staff by facilitating learning and development programs and projects across all disciplines of child protection work within DCP.
• Designing competency based Learning Programs that meet identified workforce learning needs.
• Mentoring, coaching and training staff to facilitate workplace learning activities and supporting DCP staff to fully engage in workplace learning.
• Monitoring and evaluating success of workforce learning projects and providing reports to Executive.

We are looking for a confident educator with the ability to competently coach peers and other employees to assist in their development.
You will be able to apply your knowledge and experience to plan, implement and evaluate interventions aimed at meeting clients’ needs.
Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to understand, develop and apply learning principles and methodologies in order to facilitate a broad range of learning and development initiatives.
