You will be part of a team of highly skilled legal and administrative professionals. The Role 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our fast paced team in Brisbane.  In this role you will work with one of our principals and other leading insurance lawyers.

The duties include:

  • preparation of correspondence and legal documents in consultation with work authors;
  • broad range of client communication and management;
  • general diary management, including arranging client appointments and other events;
  • collation and indexing of high volumes of documents for disclosure and briefs;
  • maintain electronic files in a timely and accurate manner from receipt of instruction to file closure;
  • monthly billing and debtor control; and
  • general administrative support.

This role will suit an enthusiastic and motivated candidate with: 

  • a minimum 3 years’ experience; 
  • strong administrative skills; 
  • exceptional attention to detail; 
  • great organisational and time management skills;
  • ability to build strong internal relationships; and
  • strong communication skills.
