Gorval Lynch is an employment law focused law firm based in the Sydney CBD. We have been operating for 7 years and the firm is managed by 2 partners with 4 full time solicitors and a dedicated legal support team.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with using IT systems and be willing to learn but as a minimum you must have experience with Microsoft Office365 applications, and familiar with online banking. All necessary training will be provided to the successful candidate.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a new candidate to join our firm. The successful candidate will be working closely with one of the partners and another legal secretary, your primary duties will be assisting with new client acquisition, managing the partner's diary and processing AR & AP transactions ( the firm uses offsite bookkeepers for payroll and you will on occasion be liaising with our external bookkeepers and accountants.
What You Would Do
You will be:
- Assisting with managing the phone system, receiving and placing calls and booking new client appointments.
- Using precedent documents to prepare and send out new client cost agreements.
- Accounts receivable: Recording payments from clients to trust and office accounts.
- Assisting with managing the accounts team email inbox.
- Accounts payable: Setting up payment of bills.
- Invoicing.
