The role:
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our Operations team, where you will provide customer service support to new and existing clients as the first point of contact with our firm and assist with the administrative requirements of the professional legal staff and the firm as a whole. As a Receptionist at our firm, you will report to the Operations Manager and be part of our collaborative and supportive Operations team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are key for this role, along with the ability to follow procedures and prioritise daily tasks to ensure all important deadlines are met.

Salary and benefits:
- FTE $60,000-$80,000 plus superannuation per annum, commensurate with experience (pro-rated if part-time)
- Flexible hours: we are offering either part-time (minimum 3 days per week) or full-time (37.5 hours over 5 days per week) and are open to discussion on how this might work for you

Key responsibilities:
- Answering phones, greeting and seating clients, processing payments and other office and reception related tasks
- Corresponding with clients including setting up appointments and collating information
- Supporting the orderly management of our office space, including ordering supplies and setting up and maintaining meeting rooms and shared office spaces
- Offboarding clients at the end of their engagement, including completing file closures and archiving
- Data entry and management; assisting to maintain accurate and up-to-date client files
- Support the overall administrative and office requirements of the firm as a whole
- Other duties from time to time

Essential:
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Developed organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Reception experience (minimum 1 to 2 years)
Desirable:
- Reception experience in a law firm
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Ability to speak in a language other than English
