Hays has partnered with a leading Commercial Law Firm based in Brisbane CBD. We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Your new role
In this role as the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming clients face to face, via email and over the phone. Key duties include:
- Answering calls and greeting clients with professionalism
- Overseeing all mail, emails, and courier services
- Carrying out external duties such as court filings, document lodgings, and banking when necessary
- Monitoring stationery supplies
- Planning and executing promotional events
- Managing files in Open Practice, including opening, closing, and archiving
- Scanning and filing secretarial notes
- Assisting the secretarial team with extra work as needed
- Preserving client confidentiality
- Keeping the reception area, kitchen, and boardrooms clean and organised
- Responding promptly to enquiries and requests from lawyers and partners
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- Prior experience as a Receptionist
- Great written and verbal communication
- Ability to commit to a full-time permanent role
