Hey You!We're seeking a proactive LMS Administratorto join our team at genU Training. genU Training is a Registered Training Organisation delivering valuable, job-ready and nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses.
As the LMS Administrator, you'll be at the forefront of managing our Canvas and Moodle platforms, ensuring a smooth delivery of accredited, non-accredited, and e-commerce learning products. Collaborating closely with our Digital Learning Coordinator, you'll streamline workflows, provide technical support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stakeholder engagement.
The LMS Administrator role is pivotal in facilitating the daily functions of our learning management systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Uploading, organising and updating training materials;
- Maintaining the LMS marketplace listing and enrolments;
- Providing technical support to internal and external users;
- Reporting on LMS user metrics such as course completion and user progress;
- Supporting LMS enhancements and work process updates.
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity based at the genU Support Hub in Geelong, Victoria. Flexible, hybrid office/work from home options readily available.
About YouOur ideal LMS Administrator will excel in both written and verbal communication, thriving as a collaborative team player in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. With a keen eye for detail, you'll navigate changes in the training environment and broader organisation with ease.
Essential Requirements:
- Proficiency in learning management system administration, including course setup, user management, and report generation (Canvas preferred);
- Demonstrated skills in data migration, content uploading, and software feature utilisation;
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or a willingness to obtain;
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion, or a willingness to complete.
Desirable qualifications and skills:
- Tertiary level qualifications in educational technology, information technology, instructional design or a related field;
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or similar;
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities;
- Experience within a vocational education/RTO;
- Proficiency in HTML for basic content formatting and customization within the LMS;
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia content creation software.
