Job description
Randstand is recruiting an experienced Logistics Coordinator for one their largest logistics clients based on the Far North Coast of NSW. We are looking for someone with a background in heavy haulage, fleet management, logistics planning and inventory control.
Key responsibilities -
Responsible for managing all aspects of the purchasing of spare parts/ stock required for the maintenance of the fleet.
Purchase services and goods to meet the daily demands and fleet maintenance, whilst negotiating favourable pricing
Service entry of purchase orders using SAP
Manage fleet management costs including; tyres, fuel, adblue etc and ensure cost centres are kept up to date to correctly allocate expenses
Manage the release and completion of SAP work orders
Administration support to the workshop
Manage stock counts
Record and ensure all safety procedures are followed on site
Complete NHVAS (national heavy vehicle accreditation scheme) compliance reports
Ideally you’ll have -
MUST HAVE Experience with coordinating Heavy Haulage Vehicles
Purchasing / logistics/ fleet coordination background
Proficient using SAP
Understanding of of fatigue laws, NHVR legislation and Heavy Vehicle Accreditation
Understanding of procurement processes and best practices
Understanding of NHVAS desirable
