As an integral part of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in supervising the safety, operational efficiency, capital investment, maintenance and compliance of our Agitator Fleet spanning across NSW & ACT. We are looking to appoint a highly capable Heavy Vehicle Logistics Manager to assist in enhancing our position in the market while driving high performance.
Key areas of responsibility
- Ensure safety compliance and standards are applied across the Agitator fleet
- Oversee fleet related operational and maintenance activities.
- Budget control and planning for capital and maintenance investments.
- Monitoring and leading employee training and development.
- Responsibility for audit and compliance associated with Fleet standards and Maintenance.
- Develop and monitor KPI’s aligned with safety, compliance, efficiency and maintenance.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with people, safety, cost and performance.
- Contract management of fleet related service providers.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in the construction or transportation industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering are highly regarded.
- Thorough understanding of heavy vehicle compliance, Maintenance systems and practices.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards regarding heavy vehicle compliance and maintenance systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel to sites across NSW and ACT.
- Ability to contribute to commercial and strategic initiatives.
