Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Administrator at our Essendon base to support our CAR30 and Part 145 operations. The successful candidate will be in good stead to join a long-standing well respected maintenance organisation giving valuable exposure to the aviation industry. This position will support our engineering team on various turboprop and reciprocating multi-engine aircraft.
Description
As a Maintenance Administrator with GAM, you will be reporting to the Responsible Manager/ Chief Engineer and be responsible for the following.
- Planning and identification of routine part requirements and procurement.
- Assisting the RM/CE with a daily report of current engineering activities, and operational personnel assignments.
- Provide reports surrounding maintenance activities as requested by the AM/CEO
- Support the Technical Records Manager to ensure continued airworthiness compliance, data management and maintain appropriate Aerotrack/Aircraft record keeping.
- Investigate and report maintenance issues as they arise identifying solutions to unscheduled delays.
- Co-ordination with our logistics and operations team surrounding maintenance activities.
Skills & Experience
- Maintenance skills and experience on GA reciprocating engines and/or turbine engine aircraft.
- Intermediate computer skills & Microsoft Office experience.
- Pro-active and positive attitude, holding safety as a core value.
- Broad understanding of CASA airworthiness requirements.
- Previous aircraft management software experience, Aerotrack or similar.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail with commitment to comply with company policies and procedures.
