Reporting to the Operational Manager, this role will lead the maintenance team whilst providing guidance to the production team to ensure adequate maintenance coverage and optimum efficiency.You will be responsible for ensuring costs are kept to budget, process improvements are identified and implemented, OH&S standards are maintained.Key Accountabilities (include but not limited to):Maintain the production facility (mechanically and electrically) to ensure optimal availability of plantPrepare and action daily, weekly and shutdown Maintenance plansEstablish and maintain an effective Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) to ensure production availabilityInvestigate new methods, new equipment and/or area(s) for productivity & efficiency improvementsEffective spare parts management and availability (using SAP dBase system)Ensure all relevant Procedures, SWMS or Job Safety Analysis (JSA) are written, communicated and implemented/used for the Maintenance area and associated tasksManage and provide effective Leadership to the Maintenance TeamEnsure all direct reports are trained adequately to safely and effectively undertake their duties and requirements of the site and their roleProvide and develop a safety culture within the Maintenance Team by complying with and personally exhibiting the PGH valuesReport all HSE issues, incidents, accidents, near-hits and hazards promptly, and assist in investigations and follow-up actions as requiredManage Goods Inwards processes effectivelyAbout you:Experience working in a heavy industry / manufacturing environment, preferably continuous production environmentProficient in Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, and Project PlanningCompetent with managing Planned Maintenance Systems - SAP an advantageSuccessfully implemented projects on time and on budgetHas worked in a shift environment understanding the importance of optimising resources across shiftsMust have Leadership experience and been responsible for effectively managing small teamsAble to set clear, objective, realistic and challenging targets which are aligned to overall site/business strategy, and manage resources and performance to achieve these targetsAble to clearly identify areas for improvement and develop and implement plans to address gapsIdentify improvement opportunities, and encourage ideas from within the Team, and then lead the changeWHAT'S ON OFFERAttractive Salary + Super + BenefitsAccess to CSR's amazing employee benefits & discounts.Work with an established team that is friendly and supportive!Training and career progression provided.
