Maintenance Planner

This manufacturing business is continuing to experience strong organic growth, further securing their position as a leading food manufacturer within their sector. 
They are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team on a Permanent Full Time basis, based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your will be responsible for:

• Planning weekly maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
• Driving maintenance improvements by implementing new systems and strategies.
• Preparing and project managing major plant shutdowns.
• Pro-actively engage with relevant stakeholders primarily being maintenance trades and production to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are carried out in full and in a timely manner.
• You will also be responsible for driving improvements in their long term maintenance plans and providing visibility of overall equipment effectiveness.

In order to be successful in this role you will:

• Trade or engineering qualified 
• Have proven experience within a large and complex food, pharmaceutical or packaging manufacturing business as a Maintenance Planner.
• Have a proven background of implementing and managing a CMMS system - ideally Mex, Maximo or SAP.
• Proven experience developing a preventative maintenance environment.
