Management Accountant

I-MED Radiology Network is Australia's largest diagnostic imaging network, with circa 4,500 employees, located in more than 240 clinics across metropolitan, regional, and rural communities throughout Australia. We offer medical imaging and radiology services and each year across the network we perform more than 5 million patient procedures.

The role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the finance function of I-MED's teleradiology business unit. This role will see you supporting month-end finance processes including preparation of reporting and analysis.

You will participate in the preparation of the business unit strategy and plan, providing financial information and provide support for budget and review processes.

You are a highly collaborative, self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and help us drive process improvements. You are commercially minded with strong attention to detail and will be able to apply whole business thinking and be adaptable in the way you work.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of business unit financial reporting including month-end, general ledger, P&L, balance sheet, FBT return and income tax
• Involvement in planning, budgeting & review for the business unit
• Working with the Commercial Finance Manager on growth projects such as financial due diligence for acquisitions, new customer tender submissions

The ideal candidate:

• Tertiary degree qualification in accounting/commerce
• Qualified or near qualified CA/CPA
• 1-2 years' experience in an accounting role
• 1-2 years' experience in use of finance/accounting systems
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
