Management Accountant

Public Sector People (PSP) is seeking a Management Accountant/Finance for a short-term temporary contract with a Local Council based in Sydney. An individual who has strong analytical skills and proven experience in business partnering will be a great candidate for this role.

• $60-65 p/hour + super, 35 hours p/week
• 3-month temporary contract
• Local Council Opportunity 

What you’ll deliver

• Developing processes for ongoing reporting and recording of certain Council’s existing workings – including grant acquittals and contingent assets
• Identifying and reviewing statements
• Support with the analysis of the Council’s budget

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in strong analytical skills and exemplary stakeholder engagement skills
• Previous experience in Government and knowledge of TechOne/CI Anywhere and SAP highly regarded
• A passion for new challenges and problem solving
