Clerk Grade 9/10-Salary ($120,859 - $133,183) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
The Manager Admission Services will manage the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) statutory functions relating to the admission of lawyers and the appointment of public notaries; lead improvements to associated systems and procedures; and manage strategic communications with applicants.

What you'll do
The Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) is a regulator of the legal profession in NSW, and works to ensure that entry-level lawyers are competent and have high ethical and professional standards. Its statutory functions include:
- determining the eligibility and suitability of people seeking to be admitted as a lawyer in NSW
- appointing public notaries in NSW, and
- maintaining the Roll of Lawyers and the Roll of Public Notaries in NSW.
All staff in the Office of the LPAB are employed by the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ). DCJ is the lead agency under the Stronger Communities Cluster, which is focussed on achieving safe, just, inclusive and resilient communities by providing services that are effective and responsive to community needs.
What we're looking for
The duties of the role require the successful candidate to demonstrate strong capabilities in: * Planning and managing frontline services and complex operational activities
- Leading change in systems and procedures to achieve improvements in quality and service levels
- Interpreting, applying and ensuring compliance with legislation, rules and policies
- Developing and reviewing written communication materials for public audiences
- Ensuring the integrity of regulatory services, or equivalent knowledge and understanding.
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
