About the role
Renewal SA is offering an exciting career opportunity for an individual to lead the Business Intelligence team. Reporting to the Director, Transformation and Change, the role will primarily be responsible for the interpretation of the organisations data and delivery of strategic reporting that is tailored to meet the organisation's analytical needs for intelligence-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team to conduct analysis that translates raw data into valuable business insights.
- Provide commercial insights crucial for adapting to ever-changing environments, empowering the organisation to respond effectively.
- Define strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
- Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources.
- Embedding Renewal SA's Digital and Data Strategy ensuring data and analytics ecosystems enable the requirements for the organisation.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced manager in the relevant field who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience in people leadership
- Proven experience in data analytics and reporting; industry experience is highly desired.
- Critical thinking and high problem definition and solving aptitude.
- Attention to detail and understanding of data governance.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools
- Strong communications skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Data Management or in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience is desirable.
