About the role
The Manager, Community Services is responsible for the development and leadership of the community-based services across Queensland including Transport, Accommodation Support Programs and Community Activities.
You will play a pivotal role as a member of the Client Operations Leadership Team.
About you
To be successful in this role:
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Qualifications in Health or Community Services or a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in delivery, roll-out and evaluation of Community Services/programs
- Proven ability to effectively manage a diverse and complex group of services with demonstrated organisational and management skills across geographically dispersed services
- Experience in the management of multi-disciplinary staff and in engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Understanding of the impact of a cancer diagnosis on an individual, their families and loved ones and the broader community
- Demonstrated experience in budget management
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including professional written communication
- Ability to manage, inspire and motivate individuals and teams to achieve targets
- Experience in networking and building partnerships with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Proven ability to organise, manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and to use initiative
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence
- Some travel will be involved
