Bannister Creek Primary School (BCPS) is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Manager Corporate Services.
The Manager Corporate Services operates within the Executive Leadership Team and will manage the day-to-day financial, physical and human resource aspects of the school's operations.
They administer all school support staff whilst reporting, developing and implementing human resource and financial management strategies to ensure the integrity of the school's business operations. They are uniquely positioned to support the establishment and growth of the school's vision and culture, while being valued for their contribution to the strategic direction of the school.
The successful applicant will ideally have high level marketing experience and interpersonal finesse which ensures a positive environment. They should be able to work effectively with diverse groups of staff, students, parents, carers and the wider community. They will ideally possess sound analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, working closely with the leadership of the school to provide exceptional customer service.
BCPS is an Independent public school, situated in Lynwood. Our school caters for approximately 580 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in a beautifully planned environment that focuses on providing sustainable opportunities including a school gardening club with vegetable gardens, chickens and an outdoor classroom on site as well as Moort Boodja - a six seasons garden. We have 18 classrooms with 5 purpose-built ECE (Early Childhood Education) rooms, a contemporary library resource centre, specialist art and music rooms and a fully enclosed undercover area.
BCPS is working to engage and reflect its rich, diverse community through a broad range of communication strategies, an active School Board, P&C and Baldja Waangkiny, an Aboriginal Parent Liaison Group and a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Parent Liaison Group.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements (selection criteria):
- Leadership skills in the delivery of business outcomes and sound customer service principles and practices.
- Well developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use effective negotiation skills.
- Sound financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
- Human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and systems.
- Ability to provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business and marketing plans.
- Sound conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills
