The Market Development Manager will be responsible for executing the regional marketing plan for the Interventional specialty within the assigned region (Australia, Southeast Asia, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong) for the Vascular Divisions Market Development team, in alignment with the division's mission, vision and purpose, and overall company priorities.
This role is an Individual Contributor with no direct reports. Reporting to the Manager, Market Development, the purpose of this role is to move Market Development objectives forward to build market share and brand development on current and new technologies, services and solutions relevant to this space. The successful applicant will have strong product and procedural knowledge within Vascular as well as proven experience running successful marketing campaigns whilst being analytical in their approach and taking ownership of their strategy. Through training, market intelligence, education, and product development, the MDM will assist in expanding Cook’s footprint within the Vascular space.
The Key Accountabilities:- Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish, measure, and meet business plan goals for assigned specialty and geography
- Support accelerating market adoption for the assigned specialty
- Responsible for being the regional product champion/expert
- Support conversions with key customers for the assigned specialty
- Support product launch, campaign planning & execution
- Present launch content to sales & support internal sales meetings
- Create market updates to send to the field
- Responsible for actively engaging CRM as a key tool for communication & sharing customer & market insights back into the organization
- Initiate focus campaigns in cooperation with sales
- Identify and develop relationships with SME’s to advance the assigned specialty
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Extensive experience in Market Development, sales, marketing, product management or product strategy, preferably in the medical device industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of Market Development for relevant Interventional products and market
- Demonstrated strategic business skills preferred
- Fluency in both oral and written English essential
- Availability and willingness to travel on company business
- Excellent time management, planning and organising skills essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office
- This position may require access to hospitals and health care facilities and is subject to compliance with facility-specific vendor credentialing policies which may include evidence of vaccinations for relevant vaccine preventable diseases as well as COVID-19 vaccination status, satisfactory police check and ability to obtain working with children certificate
