Marketing Coordinator & Content Developer
We are looking for a creative, confident, and enthusiastic marketing professional who has a keen eye for strategic marketing to join the SMC Team. The right candidate for this role will need to be able to create modernised marketing materials and understand how to weave compelling stories through visual and written content. A hands-on approach will be taken from content development through to driving growth across digital channels.
Part time – 3-4 days per week – or working school hours, we are happy to be flexible for the right applicant.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
• Creating engaging lead nurture email campaigns
• Managing social media channels (LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook)
• Creating digital graphics for advertising & outreach (Canva)
• Working with our web team to ensure website content is optimised
• Overseeing and creating promotional material for our Podcast
• Coordinating monthly video shoots with our videography partner
• Capturing photos of our friendly team for promotional material
• Scheduling and publishing of posts, utilising a social media scheduling platform such as Loomly
• Reporting to our Strategic Marketing Advisor and Director of Growth to ensure data-driven decisions can be made
• Responding to enquires & comments that come through social media channels
• Uploading blog articles to our WordPress website
• Coordinating email surveys
• Assisting with conferences & events as required
YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:
• Are social media savvy - able to navigate multiple digital platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile and YouTube.
• Have a solid track record in producing engaging content and achieving growth across social media channels
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven background in copywriting or PR
• Have a minimum of 3-years’ experience in a similar position for a B2B business
• Have experience in graphic design utilising Canva and Adobe Suite
• Are highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Are proactive with a can-do attitude
• Have some knowledge of ERP and other enterprise systems
• Have proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator and digital content creator
• Are proficient in MS Office
• Have had previous (and recent) experience with WordPress
• Experience with CRM Systems such as Pipedrive or Salesforce
