We are now looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help lead our marketing efforts.
About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic, adaptive, and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our Brisbane office on a part-time basis. In this role, you will coordinate the Marketing department and work closely with two talented interns to elevate our brand and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide leadership to ensure marketing activities align with key business drivers and strategic objectives.
- Oversee all marketing activities, including social media, events, paid ads, public Facebook groups, and newsletters.
- Lead and mentor our Junior Marketing content creators (2), fostering business growth, engagement, and partnerships.
Reporting and Strategy:
- Deliver comprehensive monthly reports on marketing activities and outcomes.
Social Media and Community Management:
- Supervise and lead content production for social media platforms, providing strategy and guidance to Junior content creators.
- Manage social media calendars and post on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Develop and execute social and community strategies to elevate Study Destination’s brand identity and drive engagement.
- Create strategies to grow our audience and generate qualified leads to boost overall sales.
- Identify industry trends and prepare video concepts for content creators.
Community Engagement and Management:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies and innovative activations.
- Organise and oversee community events, competitions, and other engagement initiatives.
- Lead the team in supporting community engagement, communication, and education, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and values.
- Produce and distribute a monthly newsletter.
- Guide staff on maintaining the appropriate tone and responses in line with our brand.
About You:
- Self-motivated, independent thinker who takes initiative and isn’t afraid to present new ideas.
- 3+ years of digital marketing experience with a passion for social media.
- Strong time-management skills and basic design knowledge (ideally Canva).
- Ability to multitask and manage fast-changing priorities.
- Previous experience in Social Media management or online Community Management is ideal.
- Excellent English writing skills. Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.
- Strong creative skills for developing social media strategies.
- Understanding of SEO and digital ads is a plus.
