As we continue to grow we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team and drive our marketing initiatives to new heights.
Job Overview
We are looking for an innovative and results driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and contribute to the overall growth and success of Hobbies Direct. The ideal candidate needs a strong background in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies coupled with a passion for hobbies. This is an onsite position that requires a physical presence in our Geelong office working Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
Proven experience as a Marketing Manager to develop and grow the marketing team and department.
Strategic Planning
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand and product awareness.
Collaborate with other internal teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
Digital Marketing
Oversee the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, SEO, and online advertising.
Analyse and optimize digital marketing performance to maximize ROI.
Content Development
Oversee and support the creation of content across all the social platforms, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and values.
Work closely with the inhouse team of content creators to produce high quality material including blog posts, videos, and social media content etc.
Brand Management
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines to guide marketing and communication efforts.
Market Research
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.
Identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Campaign Analysis and Reporting
Implement tracking and analytics tools to measure the success of marketing campaigns.
Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and make recommendations for improvement.
Budget Management
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost effective strategies that align with business goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager to lead, support and manage the marketing department.
- Understanding marketing principles, digital marketing tools, and social media channels and best practices.
- Experience in managing and growing followers/subscribers base on all social platforms.
- Sound knowledge of all social media platforms and management consoles.
- A thorough understanding of Google suite of services including Ads, Analytics, Search Console, and My Business.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the business.
- Experience with numerous SEO tools and strong copywriting and proof-reading skills.
- Excellent time management & prioritisation skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Entrepreneurial drive with strong problem solving abilities.
- Creatively innovative and lateral thinker.
- Strong attention to detail and proficient analytical and reporting abilities.
- Positive work ethic and culture.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a time constraint environment.
- Passion for hobbies desirable but not essential.
