Marketing Manager - Origination

Pallas Capital is a debt and equity fund manager specialising in the financing of Australian and New Zealand Commercial Real Estate. The business was established in direct response to the growing lack of credit in Australia’s mid-range property market; a situation exacerbated by the shortage of reputable, risk-adverse, non-bank lenders.

Fortis our property development business, has a portfolio of more than $750 million in successfully completed residential and commercial projects, with a further $560 million to be completed by the end of the year.

Due to continued growth, Pallas Capital’s Origination team has an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager.

About the role 

The Marketing Manager – Origination is responsible for the brand and campaign planning and execution of Origination marketing initiatives nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and implementing end-to-end marketing strategies, in line with Origination’s growth strategies
• Researching and analysing Pallas Capital’s competitor landscape, client demographics and market trends to inform marketing strategies 
• Briefing and overseeing internal and external creative and production teams to ensure all marketing and advertising assets are created on time, on brief, within budget and to high creative and quality standards
• Developing innovative ideas that position our Origination team as experts and industry leaders
• Working closely with the Origination team to identify, prioritise and follow through on lending opportunities
• Creating memorable experiences for prospective and existing lending clients 
• Working with the Marketing team in managing all Origination specific events including conferences, PD days, award events, and PC hosted events such as educational breakfasts or EOFY client events
• Working with the Marketing team to track campaign data and event ROI, and regularly reporting to the wider Origination team on campaign recommendations and optimisations
• Working with the Marketing team to create regular communications through Pallas Capital owned channels sales to stay top of mind for commercial brokers and borrowers
• Working with external agencies where relevant to coordinate the delivery of PR and Advertising campaigns
• Ensuring the Origination team are involved, engaged and in agreement with a campaign’s direction, deliverables and budget
• Implementing agreed approval processes at key milestones
• Reporting marketing activities and achievements to the business as part of the weekly Origination WIPS
• Ensuring adequate agenda and meeting outcomes are documented and shared
• Ensuring all experiences and communications are consistently in line with origination’s communication strategy, and also deliver on Pallas Capital’s brand positioning and guidelines

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge of commercial / mixed use real estate 
• Proficiency in digital event promotion tools such as social media channels
• Proficiency in project management tools
• 5+ years’ experience in Loan Origination
• Good understanding of all digital media platforms
• Experience managing marketing branding and campaigns for commercial real estate including office and retail leasing 
• Experience in developing and delivering tenant experience strategies and engagement initiatives
