Role Details
Media Agency or contract management experience at a senior level including a sound knowledge of the advertising or media buying industries and the role and function of the Master Media Scheme. Demonstrated ability to manage projects with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, effectively prioritising to achieve all objectives in a timely manner within tight time frames. High level problem solving capability with a focus on outcomes (versus process) and a highly developed conceptual ability. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate complex specialist concepts in lay language to people across a wide range of audiences. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels including senior staff in government agencies, ministerial personnel and media outlets. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a small team environment, proactively providing reliable support to other team members and contributing positively to achievement of team goals. Experience across a broad range of advertising, marketing or promotional activities in either the public or private sectors.
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
