Overview
The Medical and Maternity Services Support Officer provides a comprehensive, confidential, efficient and effective administrative support service to the office of the Kangaroo Island Health Service medical and maternity workforce in collaboration with Executive Director medical Services. This includes supporting the recruitment and retention of the Salaried Medical Officers, Visiting Medical Officers, Physicians, Consultants, Junior Doctors, Medical Trainees, Locums and midwifery staff.
The Medical and Maternity Services Support Officer assists with the management and rostering of medical and midwifery staff, providing support with the credentialing process and undertaking other duties to facilitate the provision of medical and maternity administration service within KIHS. The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing Midwifery KIHS for projects relating to the provision of medical and Maternity Services, as well provide administrative support to the KIHS Administration Manager as required.
This role will be based at Kangaroo Island Health Service, Kingscote.
