About the Role:
We are currently seeking a friendly, professional and highly motivated Receptionist & Administration Assistant to join our team Full Time 38hrs per week.
Based at front desk reception and bookings, you will ensure that all patients and incoming calls are attended to in a professional manner and ensure the smooth running of the practice.
A working day is 7.6 hours, between the hours of 7.30am- 5.00pm Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a friendly, courteous, and professional greeting and support to all visitors/patients
- Answer and always assist incoming callers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure appropriate standard of presentation and maintenance of work and the reception area
- Accurate financial processes, Medicare, and patient billing
- Billing processes are appropriate, are in line with MTIC requirements and are carried out accurately and efficiently
- Ensure examinations on the radiology information system are correctly ordered and scheduled
- Communication to patients/carers of appointment details and requirements
- Maintain and manage patient information
- Administrative support to the senior management of MTIC and medical staff as appropriate
- Assist with importing and exporting images through the PACS system
- Compliance with service wide and department protocols and procedures
About you:

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Well-developed communication skills both face to face and over the telephone
- High attention to detail
- Previous experience within the Medical Imaging industry highly desired
- Experience in Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a diverse team
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage pressure within a changing work environment
- Sound organisational and prioritisation skills
- Highly proficient data entry skills
- General computer literacy with standard Microsoft programs knowledge
- Ability to follow instruction and problem solve
Previous experience in a similar role is desired.
