We are looking for a part-time (6 day fortnight), motivated Medical Receptionist to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team at our Ascot Vale, Keilor East and Keilor Downs clinics.
Little Kingdom Therapy is a privately owned Allied Health practice which has a large client base, our caseload is ever increasing, and we have found the need to expand our team.
Our clinics offer a range of interventions such as Psychology, Speech Pathology and Nutrition.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and visitors.
- Handling incoming calls and email enquiries.
- Scheduling participant appointments and prepare initial paperwork.
- Invoicing and receipting participants and plan managers.
- Providing administrative support and performing ad hoc duties.
- Manage the collection of outstanding invoices.
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry.
- Coding and submitting Medicare claims.
- Scanning all paper correspondence (paperless clinic).
- Daily EFT reconciliation.
Requirements:
- Previous reception and administration experience, ideally however not essential in a healthcare setting.
- High level of initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Works well independently and within a team.
- Flexible to work at all rostered locations.
- Well presented and reliable.
